Chiche, at his core, is an artist who lives and breathes his craft. An individual who wears many creative hats – producer, rapper, singer, writer, director, and actor. His approach to art is intentional and willing, committed to living life to the fullest to inspire his creations. In his own words, he is “very me,” and his music reflects his authentic self. From Beaumont, TX, Chiche draws inspiration from his roots and the local artistic community. Chiche immersed himself in music from a young age, growing up with his DJ stepdad. His music journey began early with church singing and self-teaching multiple instruments, resulting in three high school projects.
Chiche’s Influences and Inspirations
Chiche’s artistic palette is rich and diverse. He credits Tyler, The Creator, Kendrick Lamar, Andre 3000, and Frank Ocean as key influences shaping his thinking and artistic approach. Each artist imparts a unique lesson, from embracing authenticity and storytelling to humility and vulnerability. Chiche aspires to create a world within his art that captivates his audience in the same way his favorite artists have captivated him.

For Chiche, the ultimate compliment is when the crowd feels like they’ve been taken on a journey into his world. With years of experience, he aims to be remembered as a performer who connects with the audience.
Chiche’s notable performances include his first rap at a college block party and the debut of a project he created at 15 during Band Nite at a Beaumont art studio. Both experiences were transformative, shaping his confidence and vulnerability on stage and impacting himself and the audience.
Highlighting “Where The Sky Meets Heaven”

Chiche’s EP “Where The Sky Meets Heaven,” released in May, encapsulates a period in his life marked by transition and purgatory. It’s a musical journey that reflects his personal growth and the challenges of leaving home after high school. Its opening track, Where The Sky Meets Heaven, features reflective bars over an old soul sample. It offers a great introduction to the rest of the EP, setting the tone for the rest of the journey. One of my favorite songs is “Hell on Earth,” which samples Frank Ocean’s “Solo” and shares its introspective themes and beauty. Additionally, he gives an exclusive mention of his upcoming album, “Closed Mouths,” delving into the theme of ego – an ambitious project that promises to be his most significant work yet.
In Chiche’s world, music connects souls and builds worlds. Chiche’s intentional yet relaxed approach invites listeners to connect with the authenticity and vulnerability of his artistry.
